Mr. Burks has worked as a Project Manager in the commercial roofing industry since 1997 and has managed portfolios for a number of large companies including: Home Depot, Allergan, Western National Group, Westfield Malls and AT&T.
A recognized expert in thermoplastic roofing systems, Mr. Burks has consistently managed $5-$7 million in projects a year since 2005. Mr. Burks is a NAVFAC certified Construction Quality Manager (CQM) and well known by leading roof consultants and manufacturers.
Mr. Burks is a two time winner of the Sika-Sarnafil Project of the Year Award. His first project to win was Park Place Urban Community (Irvine, CA) in 2015, his second project winner was Cumulus District (Los Angeles, CA) in 2022. In addition, Mr. Burks is a member of the Red Pointe Roofing Safety Committee with CAL-OSHA 10 certification and was the recipient of the company’s Peak Performer award in 2013.
